Why Recommended

The Summit Lodge is the nicest of the small hotels in Whistler and since it doesn't carry the ski-in/ski-out premium, it offers great value. We have an agreement with one of the ski shops at the base of the mountain whereby you can store your skis for free when you rent with them, so you don’t have to lug them through the village. This helps ease the non-ski-in ski-out issue and the 5 minute walk really isn’t a big deal. We have found the Summit Lodge to be an excellent choice for small intimate retreats.

Location

The Summit Lodge Whistler is a full service suite style hotel located in the main village. It is a 5 minute walk through the village to the lifts, but the hotel operates a very efficient shuttle service to and from the slopes. Its location is very convenient for the many shops and restaurants that Whistler has to offer, but is in a quiet part of the village so noise is not a problem.

Rooms

The suites are very spacious and all have convenience kitchenettes. The carpets and duvets are among the best in the village and all the rooms have upgraded amenities. The rooms are serviced daily and they serve a very nice breakfast in their dining room. They have added the Taman Sari Royal Heritage Spa to the hotel and also have a new restaurant called Elements and are home to Sachi Sushi .

The hotel has studios and one bedroom suites. They have various bed configurations and come with a fully equipped kitchennette in every suite. They offer daily housekeeping service.
