As I was driving the highway last night it dawned on me just how close to being complete they are. They have massive chunks finished and provided you don't get caught up in the construction itself it now take about 10 minutes less time to drive the Vancouver to Whistler.  It also feels safer, so my kudos to the men and women of Kiewet for doing such a great job at getting done and on time.

The Peak to Peak Gondola is opening as we speak with the first group of skiers going across it right now.  It is also snowing like crazy all the way down to Vancouver so I guess it is a good omen.  Stay tuned for some pictures of the main event.
