Whistler was voted number 1 ski resort in North America for the twelfth year in a row by the readers of SKIING MAGAZINE.  Another accolade of note is we are home to the recipient of the Best Apres Scene award, given to the Garibaldi Lift Company (GLC) for its great food and wide variety of live concerts. If you are looking for a great place to enjoy some rest after a great day on the hill then try out the GLC the next time you are in Whistler.

The Peak to Peak Gondola is opening as we speak with the first group of skiers going across it right now.  It is also snowing like crazy all the way down to Vancouver so I guess it is a good omen.  Stay tuned for some pictures of the main event.
