Now I bet your are wondering how the above topics are related…. Well last week I was in Costa Rica and as per usual when I go away, Whistler gets hit with tons of snow. I came back to a winter wonderland that's for sure.  However I didn't return empty handed as we have had some sun for the last couple of days and are suppose to have more sun for this upcoming week.  There are still lots of accommodation options available for the rest of the winter season so if you are thinking of coming up to Whistler this is a good year to try it out as the conditions are fantastic.

The Peak to Peak Gondola is opening as we speak with the first group of skiers going across it right now.  It is also snowing like crazy all the way down to Vancouver so I guess it is a good omen.  Stay tuned for some pictures of the main event.
