Zip Trek is the newest addition to the list of non-skiing activities offered in Whistler and has quickly become one of the most popular. It is an exhilarating, fun filled activity that the whole family can enjoy together. Guest zip down a series of steel cables while seated in a harness. The guides also give a guided eco-tour and you'll learn all about the local flora and fauna. The Ziplines vary in length from 80 feet to 1100 feet and are suspended above the Fitzsimmons Creek between Whistler & Blackcomb Mountains. It's a great way to get your adrenaline pumping, but is also very safe and guests aged 6 & over can enjoy the experience. We have had fantastic reviews from guests who would never imagine they'd do that sort of thing, so come on out and try it!  They have added a new tour this year, so you can now choose between the old "Bear" tour and the new "Eagle" tour which is a more adventurous tour boasting steeper, longer and faster lines.

While we think most guests will enjoy Zip Trekking, there is also a more conservative tour called Tree Trek. Tree Trekking is a series of boardwalks that are suspended in the trees. You can always have 2 feet on the ground and still get great views of the valley and the creek far below. Guides will once again educate tree trekkers on the local environment and everyone will get a chance to enjoy the beauty of our rain forests.
