"If you can walk you can snowshoe!" Snowshoes are specially designed to make walking on winter terrain easy. They are nice and wide so you float on top of the snow and they also have spikes on them so you won't slip. There are several different tours that vary in the amount of exertion needed. The nature walks are very relaxing, so just about anyone can get out there and enjoy the wilderness! Here are the tours we recommend:
Natural Mystic Tour {1.5 Hr}: $79(Adult) $49 (Child 4-12) departs daily at 10:00, 12:00, 2:00. 2 hr round trip tour perfect for first-timers! Ride the gondola up Whistler Mountain to Olympic Station, then strap on your snowshoes for a trip through freshly fallen snow in Whistler's most pristine old growth forest. This tour is famous for its birds that you will see and have the opportunity to hand feed.
Mountain View Tour {2.5 Hr}: $89(Adult) $59 (Child 4-12) departs daily at 11:30, 3:30. 3 hr adventure tour takes you through the wilderness just north of the resort to an incredible viewpoint overlooking Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains. This tour is a bit more active, so a minimum level of fitness is required.
You can also simply rent a set of snow shoes at the Lost Lake Connection and go for a walk in the snow around Lost Lake. Your VIP guide would be happy to join you for an afternoon of relaxed walking in our winter wonderland!
