British Columbia offers the world's best heliskiing, so why not experience what skiing at its best is all about? Heliskiing is every skier's ultimate dream and really is an experience of a lifetime. While it can be an extreme adventure, it's not necessarily as hardcore as you might think. Heliskiing is all about fresh untouched powder in pristine backcountry wilderness and is suitable for both intermediate & advanced skiers. If you can handle blue runs confidently then you can handle heliskiing!
Whistler is the only resort in the world where day heliskiing trips are possible. Imagine: Drop the kids off at ski school, hop in the helicopter, do some runs in perfect snow, then relax back at your hotel or chalet with the whole family. There's no where else in the world where this fairytale can come true. Check out our Flexi-heli product for more details on having flexible lift passes, lessons, and heliskiing to ensure that you get the best possible day out
on the slopes. We take care of such things as picking your kids up from ski school and making sure that the non-skiers in your group are well looked after, so you can be confident that all you have to worry about is enjoying your turns on the virgin powder.
We have been working with the various heliskiing operators in and around Whistler for the last eight years and have an intimate knowledge of the different products that they offer. It is important that you understand the differences between a day trip and a backcountry lodge trip and that you select the right package within each of those options. The following will give you an idea of the rates for a single day trip out of Whistler. We also deal with the backcountry heliski operators such as Coast Mountain Heliskiing, Bella Coola Heliskiing or TLH Heliskiing. Please call us or email us for more details and to discuss which package would be suitable for you. For your safety, VIP only works with licensed heli-skiing operators.
